KAKAMPI MO ANG BATAS.SYNDICATED, ENGLISH. 27 JANUARY 2015  PNoy knew of SAF operation beforehand?    LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight…” (James 4:1-2, the Holy Bible).                                                             -ooo-             352 ELITE POLICEMEN IN MAGUINDANAO CARNAGE: Probably in response to the questions we asked in this column the other day, some answers are now slowly coming out which may yet clarify how some 64 or, perhaps, more, elite and well-trained policemen from the Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP SAF) got massacred last Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Mamasano, Maguindanao.             Now, it would seem that the fatal PNP SAF operation Sunday had the imprimatur of Malacanang no less, through its Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission headed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. News reports said it was Ochoa’s Commission that may have funded, and therefore directed, the operation.             This would explain why, as the PNP itself admitted, some 352 highly trained in guerilla tactics and fierce combat were made to join the hunt which, it would now appear, was intended to capture or kill Zulkifli bin Hir, alias Marwan, allegedly a member of the Markaziyah, Jemaah Islamiya’s central command, and Basit Usman, a Mindanao-trained terrorist.                                                             -ooo-             PNOY KNEW OF SAF OPERATION BEFORE IT HAPPENED? Our friends from Mindanao told me that even President Aquino appeared to have been informed beforehand of the PNP SAF activity, which was carried out in the early morning of Sunday, January 25, 2015. The President was briefed about the operation to capture or neutralize Marwan and Usman in a separate briefing before he went to Zamboanga City also on Sunday, January 25, 2015.             Our sources said Aquino’s presence in Zamboanga City was meant to confirm his permission for the large-scale operation against Marwan and Usman. I was told that this presidential go-signal, though tacitly or clandestinely given, was the reason why a very large contingent of SAF police officers and elements was authorized to participate in the operation, including SAF forces from as far as the Cordillera Administrative Region.             In a report in its website, cordillerasun, the newspaper Cordillera Sun claimed: “Several of the slain policemen are from the Cordillera region. Based on our sources, over a dozen of the cops are from the different provinces of CAR. We are yet to verify some of the names but below are 12 of the policemen who are reportedly from the Cordillera region…” The Sun then gave the names of these 12 policemen.                                                             -ooo-             SEN. J.V.. WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FOR BBL, CALLS KILLINGS “MASSACRE”: Here is a reaction on the killing of the 64 members of PNP SAF, from Sen. J.V. Ejercito: “We condemn in the strongest possible terms the recent deaths of almost 50-members of PNP-SAF and the crimes allegedly perpetrated by members of the Moro IslamicLiberation Front (recent reports say there are now 64 dead---Atty. Batas). “Considering that such cowardly acts occurred amid finalizing efforts to attain lasting peace in Mindanao, it now led us to contemplate whether the proposed Basic Bangsamoro Law would really address the long-standing problem besetting Mindanao. I signed as a co-author with the desire of giving the BBL a chance to be the instrument of peace in Mindanao. “What happened to the PNP-SAF troopers is not a mis-encounter but a MASSACRE! I am withdrawing my signature as a co-author of the Bangsamoro Basic Law as a result of this carnage. My heart bleeds for our policemen who were mercilessly killed...”                                                 -ooo- REACTIONS?
